INKA TRAIL stands against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA)
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) is firmly committed to eradicating the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) within the tourism sector in Peru.
This form of exploitation is a serious violation of the rights of minors and represents a grave type of sexual violence that, unfortunately, is still tolerated or normalized in many settings.
At INKA TRAIL EXPEDITIONS PERU, we fully support and adhere to the Code of Conduct against ESNNA, and we are committed to promoting safe and responsible tourism.
Legal Base
In line with current Peruvian legislation that penalizes all forms of sexual exploitation of minors, the following laws are in force:
- Law No. 29403 – General Tourism Law, and its regulation (Supreme Decree No. 003-2010-MINCETUR)
- Law No. 30963, which strengthens penalties for sexual exploitation and related crimes, especially when involving children, adolescents, and women.
- Law No. 30802, which sets specific conditions for the admission of minors into lodging establishments to ensure their safety and integrity.
Help Us Protect Our Children
If you are aware of any case involving the sexual exploitation of minors (under 18 years old), we strongly encourage you to report it immediately.
Our agency does not tolerate, promote, or allow any form of sexual exploitation or any criminal activity related to our operations. We act in full compliance with Law No. 29408, ensuring a safe and ethical environment for all.
Sincerely,
INKA TRAIL EXPEDITIONS PERU
