The VIP Super Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour offers an unforgettable journey through the rich culture and history of the Andes. Discover the traditional textile art of Chinchero, the impressive Inca agricultural terraces of Moray, the ancient salt mines of Maras, and the grandeur of Ollantaytambo and Pisac. It’s a full-day experience filled with breathtaking landscapes, cultural treasures, and authentic local flavor — perfect for those with limited time or looking to acclimate before exploring Inca Trail, Salkantay and Machu Picchu.
We begin the Super Sacred Valley VIP Tour by picking you up from your hotel at 6:30 AM in our comfortable tourist bus. From Cusco, we head north into the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our first stop is Chinchero, about 40 minutes from Cusco. This charming village preserves many original Inca traditions and sits in an important agricultural region. You'll visit its colonial church and bell tower, both built atop ancient Inca foundations. You'll also see local artisans showcasing beautiful handmade textiles, crafted using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
By 9:30 AM, we’ll arrive at Moray, a fascinating site made up of circular agricultural terraces built into natural depressions in the land. These terraces were used by the Incas to create microclimates and experiment with growing different crops—an incredible example of their agricultural innovation.
Next, around 11:00 AM, we’ll visit the famous Maras Salt Mines—a stunning network of over 3,000 shallow salt pools that have been in use since pre-Inca times. Managed by about 380 local families, these pools are fed by a natural salty spring that flows from the nearby mountain known as Qoripukiu, meaning "golden spring" in Quechua. The striking white pools surrounded by mountain scenery create a truly unforgettable view.
At 12:30 PM, we’ll arrive in Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, prepared with fresh local ingredients from the Sacred Valley. This is the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge before continuing the tour.
Around 2:00 PM, we’ll visit the impressive archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a former Inca administrative, military, and religious center. Known for its massive stone structures and strategic location, it played a key role in controlling access between different ecological zones. Its perfectly fitted stonework and terraces are a clear reflection of the Inca's incredible architectural skills.
At 4:00 PM, we’ll explore Pisac, named after the Quechua word "P’isaca" (partridge). This archaeological complex features an extensive system of agricultural terraces with irrigation channels, which allowed the Incas to grow the region’s prized giant white corn, parcay sara. During the visit, you’ll explore its religious, residential, and agricultural areas, all built high on the mountain slopes following Inca traditions. We’ll also visit the famous Pisac market, originally a local trading space that has now expanded to offer a variety of artisan crafts and souvenirs.
Finally, we return to Cusco, arriving at around 7:00 PM.
Our Super Sacred Valley Tour is the perfect all-in-one experience for travelers who want to explore the most iconic Inca sites in just one day. Led by expert local guides, you'll dive deep into the fascinating world of Inca history and culture. Along the way, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with traditional Peruvian dishes and travel in modern, comfortable tourist buses designed for a smooth and relaxing journey.
What makes this tour truly special is the chance to connect with local communities and witness ancient traditions still alive today. It’s not just a tour—it’s a cultural immersion.

I really enjoyed this trek. It was definitely challenging, but I made great friends and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the overall experience. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared and included soup, protein, and vegetables. Abet was incredibly kind and stayed back with me and others if we were moving a little slower. I was traveling solo and was paired with another female solo traveler, which I really appreciated and made the experience even more comfortable. Despite doing very little preparation beforehand, I still managed to reach the summit. There is an option to rent horses if you didn’t acclimatize before or are struggling. Definitely recommended to bring your own toilet paper as toilets along the way don’t have any. For the price and the experience, I think it was absolutely worth it.

Wonderful experience with Abet our guide who looked after us all the way. Abet was very knowledgeable about the mountains and Inca culture and history. Victorianio our cook gave us hearty food needed for the hiking. Accommodation was comfortable, basic, but everything we needed. We felt it better to go with a Peruvian company rather than an international owned operation.

Great trek! The accomodations were nice, the tour guide Abet kept us on track and having a good time every step of the way. Our chef Victoriano was fantastic - the food was so good and lots of variety. I really liked being able to just enjoy myself while Abet and the Inka Expeditions crew took care of everything. Made for a very enjoyable experience.
