In this circuit you will be able to know the most traditional destinations of Peru: Lima known as the city of the kings, and Cusco the historical city of Peru, and Sacred Valley (Pisac and Ollantaytambo), Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.Don’t forget to bring your camera so as not to take away a beautiful memory of your visit.
This tour begin in the airport, we will pick you up and transfer to your hotel. We will gather to our passengers and then we stop at the Intihuatana Park, located on the Malecon of Miraflores, where we will observe the Pacific Ocean. We start our tour by modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We observe outside the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial pre-Inca temple pyramid shaped that has survived the urban sprawl of Lima.
We will continue our journey to the park El Olivar and the Financial Center then we drive to the Historic Center of Lima, declared by UNESCO in 1991 Cultural Heritage of Humanity, where the center of the Spanish colony was established in the sixteenth century and erected the first buildings. Know the Plaza San Martin, balconies and old houses, the Plaza Mayor and its most important buildings like the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop's Palace and Municipal, Desamparados Station, among others.
We will know one of the most important monasteries of the seventeenth century. Where the relics of the three Peruvian saints “Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres y San Juan Macías” are preserved. Then return to Miraflores and ending our tour will have the option to stay in the Artesanal market in Larcomar and return to your hotel.

Day 2 | Circuit
You can enjoy of a delicious breakfast in your hotel. At the scheduled time transfer to Lima airport.
Flight Lima Cusco (on behalf of the Paxs)
Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to your hotel.
Free afternoon to acclimatize to the altitude or activities on their own.

Day 3 | Circuit
After you had breakfast at the hotel.We will begin with the gathering of our passengers from their hotels, go through on the Sacred Valley overlooking the Inca citadel of Pisac formed by group of platforms and architectural structures scattered on the slopes and at the top mountain, then visit the Artesanal Handicraft market of Pisac where we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs of its inhabitants. Lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley. In the afternoon we visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes of the jungle. On the way back to Cusco we visit the picturesque village of Chinchero where the remains of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui.

Day 4 | Circuit

Transfer, from Cusco to Train station, later train service to Km 104
Today our trek takes us along the most impressive stretch of the Inka Trail. We'll visit beautiful Inka sites, see a variety of flora and fauna and get to take in the fantastic panoramas of the Andes Mountains. Covering 16km of the trail our journey begins in the Sacred Valley and works its way up along an original Inca Trail to the Inca site of Wiñay Wayna before continuing on to Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate (Inti Punku).
As we make our way to Machu Picchu we'll pass through the lush and verdant cloud forest that covers the mountain and get to see a variety of plants, flowers and birds along the way. We may also see some larger mammals such as Viscachas (rabbit-like Chinchillas) and Spectacled Bears (if we are very lucky).
After a full day trekking we'll arrive to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the late afternoon and get our first views of Machu Picchu spread out on the mountain below. The light at this time of day is great for photos because there are few tourists so it's a perfect time to take some pictures of the site. After we've passed through the Sun Gate, we'll carry on along the trail a little way before taking a side trail that leads us to Aguas Calientes, in the valley below where we'll check in to our hotel.

Accommodation: Overnight in Aguas Calientes town. (Hotel on request)
Distance: 16kms/10 mls (6 hours more or less of hiking)
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate.
Walking Time: Approximately 6 hours (including picnic lunch en route)
Walk and Terrain: Walk, canter on open roads, some steep ascending trails
Day 5 | Circuit
Waking up early (04:00am) we’ll take one of the first buses back up to Machu Picchu to enter the site as soon as it opens (06:00am) we’ll have 2-hours guided tour in the site where you'll learn about the Inkas and visit all the most important areas of the citadel. After your tour, you'll have free time to explore the site by yourself and if you have permits to climb either Huayna Picchu (2 hours round trip) or Machu Picchu Mountain (3 hours round trip).
You will also have time to indulge in a few of the following activities on your own if you choose (not included in the price)
Climb up Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain and appreciate the beauty and magnificence of Machu Picchu from there.
Other optional activities in Aguas Calientes are a visit to the new local museum or bathe in the hot springs.
Back to Cusco: You will descend by bus and later board the Expedition train to the Ollantaytambo Train Station “Train departure time can vary according train schedule and availability”. In Ollantaytambo Train station you will meet our private van and be transferred to Cusco.
*** Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountains hike depends on availability; please let us know if you want to add one of these extra hikes at the time of your booking.
*** We only take Inca Jungle passengers in our small vans / auto – We do not use public transport.

At the morning you have breakfast at hotel. You will have a chance to take the last picture for sharing to your friends and family.

Fue una hermosa experiencia,desde el arranque, el guía muy bien explicando, acompañando, en el transcurso de las horas la llegada al campamento, los porter, ya con todo armado esperándonos, la atención y amabilidad de la gente local excelente. Agradecida de cada día que pasamos en el treikking con esas personas maravillosas, el recorrido del camino difícil algunos tramos pero excelente todo. Se los recomiendo visitar Cuzco y si se animan el treikking o visitar El pueblo inca impresionante.. 💫💫

A once in a lifetime trip! Best experience for solo women in her fourties! Yapa Explorers handled everything door to door from pre briefing at my hotel to private taxi drop off making for a seamless trip. The group size was small and intimate. Our guide yisus was informative, knowledgeable and made us feel safe and cared for over the challenging terrain. Our chef Vicente created delicious, fresh, locally sourced and inspired food at every meal and the 8 porters were hard working, fun, friendly and supportive offering a genuine family/team spirit vibe. The equipment such as tents and rented items such as sleeping bag and poles were clean and in excellent condition. Once arriving at Machu Picchu, we had full access to the site and a deeply informative tour. I can’t recommend this tour group any higher! Some tips are train and be fit for this hike, wear very good GTX hiking shoes/boots. Take layers, water proof clothes, toilet paper, head torch, battery charger, Sun block, coins for toilets and antibacterial hand wipes. Take money for tipping as they deserve every cent. Only complaint is toileting facilities which every person on the Inca trail has to put ups with.

Non esistono parole sufficientemente potenti per descrivere quanto questo breve ma intensissimo trekking possa cambiare la prospettiva del Tutto. Portato con impressionante maestria da Percy, una guida di grande esperienza e profonda conoscenza del territorio, della sua cultura e dell’animo umano più in generale, affiancato da Fran e Isa ed un esercito di ottimi cuochi e portatori di grande livello, il nostro gruppo ha solcato il Cammino Inca senza timore, ritrovando forze ed energie troppo spesso chiuse nei cassetti delle nostre vite frenetiche. Il tempo non esiste: in quei pochi giorni si vive e si respira un’aria diversa, usando uno specchio interiore che ci porta ad avvicinarsi passo dopo passo alla Meraviglia di Machu Picchu che a quel punto è sì la meta finale, ma di fatto il coronamento di un’esperienza ben più complessa. Il mio consiglio è quello di scegliere (ove possibile) la Persona che ci accompagna in una simile esperienza. Per quanto riguarda le attrezzature, sarebbe forse indicabile di avere spazi più ampi affinché le tende possano essere montate correttamente. Bollino nero per i servizi igienici nelle diverse aree campeggio che (come le nostre guide ben sanno e segnalano regolarmente) meriterebbero una seria manutenzione, vista la notorietà del cammino.

I recommend this Inka Trail tour with Iza, Percy, and Frank if you really want to feel at home in a foreign country while experiencing the most amazing scenery. These 3 guides are absolute delights to be around. They are funny, friendly, and welcoming, and, most importantly, they CARE. They care about nature like no one I have ever met before, and they care about you too. By the end of the trail, they felt like friends, even though we only knew each other for 4 days. Furthermore, they have everything under control, yet everything feels so relaxed. They are knowledgeable and share stories and insights in ways that mesmerize you. Additionally, I can recommend using their porters. This group of men and women is absolutely extraordinary, and the work they put in must not go unnoticed. They make everything work behind the scenes, making sure you have a comfortable, dry place to sleep every night, fresh water, and that camp is set up for all 3 meals. Speaking about the meals… The cook, Julius Caesar, knows what’s good. He cooked 3 meals a day for us, making sure we got plenty of protein and carbohydrates to sustain us during the strenuous hikes, and at the same time, he managed to make everything taste wonderful with great attention to detail! I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of all the meals he provided for us, and these were not quick camping meals. They ranged from mango ceviche to lomo saltado and many other fresh, tasty Peruvian dishes. And there was plenty for everyone. I would do this again in a heartbeat (once my legs have recovered from this one!), and I hope to find this team again.
